This is the 1st post from my new Android phone!
The novelty wears off and if I want to communicate I need to devise mechanisms. Tried a blackboard but isn’t fast or clear or clean enough. So I’m using 5″x4″ paper cards made of scrap paper. Works like a charm. I even created several “Most Frequently Said” cards: “Obrigado”, “Não posso falar, fui operado”, and other less proper sentences.
I’ve been very conscious about not speaking today. I feel my chord that was intervened, which helps me remember. Some words slip, by reflex. And it’s funny, everyone laughs about my condition
Due to surgery on a vocal chord. How am I going to survive for 15 looong days without being able to speak?…
After many years of ups and downs, diogo.com is coming back to life.
Don’t expect a traditional blog; this is simply my personal home on the web, tied in to the social networks and collaborative tools that I use online.
Minimalistic style, designed for clarity and perhaps some visual inspiration. Language is mixed.
Thanks for stopping by, and see you around!
